“The “Industrial IoT Integration and Development” course was very interesting, but what I would like to highlight are the aspects I appreciated most in my relationship with the teachers: their expertise combined with their willingness and flexibility in addressing/exploring “practical” issues that are normally skillfully sidestepped by most of those who provide training on topics such as this. Therefore, it was not an experience based 80% on PowerPoint presentations but, on the contrary, the great added value was being able to experience the topics covered in the field. In my experience, I have seen many cases where, in theory, all objects would be interfaceable, and when asked, “Can we test this on this particular device?”, the answer that came after a few attempts was something like, “This is one of the (few) ones that doesn't work.” In this sector, I am convinced that dealing with people who also have practical/operational skills makes all the difference, fully justifying the investment made in training."
