With over a century of experience, the company has established itself as a leader in the production of high-quality Italian cheeses, including Grana Padano PDO, Provolone Valpadana PDO, and butter, while maintaining strong ties to the local area and tradition.

The problem

Historically, planning and production at Latteria Soresina has been entrusted to the skill and historical memory of production department operators, based on specific commercial requests (make-to-order logic). There is therefore a need for demand planning in line with current market requirements, such as flexibility, reduction in batch size, fragmentation of references, and optimization of incoming and outgoing logistics flows.
