MADE AND INTESA SANPAOLO COLLABORATE TO SUPPORT ITALIAN COMPANIES TOWARD INDUSTRY 4.0

MIlan, Feb. 11, 2021

MADE Competence Center and Intesa Sanpaolo have entered into a collaboration agreement to foster digital transformation, process innovation and internationalization of Italian companies towards Industry 4.0.

The agreement primarily concerns financing opportunities for investments in research and innovation for MADE’s partner companies and those that will turn to the Competence Center, through the search for European Funds made available by the EU and/or through the Bank’s financial instruments dedicated to Research & Innovation.

To support investment in innovation, companies will also be able to benefit from financial products dedicated to supporting research, development and innovation projects, as well as organic plans for investment in innovative technologies, patents and know-how aimed at the creation of new technologically innovative products, production processes and services and/or the enrichment of the technological content of existing products, processes and services and the improvement of the company’s organization and structure.

MADE and Intesa Sanpaolo will also collaborate to develop orientation activities and training courses on technology transfer, innovation, internationalization and European funding. In particular, MADE will provide an “educational factory,” a space designed to orient businesses in a simple, practical and self-explanatory way to the technologies and potential of Industry 4.0. This facility will feature real production lines and technology islands designed to enhance the learning experience as well as classrooms and spaces dedicated to training.

Intesa Sanpaolo, always at the side of SMEs and start-ups to support them in their paths of innovation and internationalization, will make available advisory services for the protection and enhancement of intellectual property and for investments in international markets, strengthened by its extensive foreign network in about 40 countries.

Marco Taisch, President MADE Competence Center Industria 4.0, said, “This agreement allows MADE’s partner companies and those that will turn to our Competence Center to strengthen their business and enhance production processes with 4.0 technologies. The synergy with Intesa Sanpaolo is an important element of support for the digital transformation and internationalization of Italian manufacturing companies.”
