CPS D’Auria is a company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-precision moulds, operating mainly in the energy and mechanical sectors. With a strong focus on innovation, it aims to continuously improve its processes through advanced technologies and digitalisation projects.

CPS D’Auria’s production system had some issues because of manual machine management, poor data collection, and a lack of interconnection. These inefficiencies caused operational delays, errors in production reports, and increased waste. Plus, the lack of energy monitoring hurt sustainability and overall efficiency.

The project involved the adoption of digital technologies to transform the factory into an ‘interconnected factory’, with the aim of making existing machinery intelligent and integrated. The intervention included IoT sensors, integrated PLCs, ERP software with orchestrator, KPI dashboards and energy monitoring systems. Real-time data collection and analysis enabled more accurate and efficient management of the entire production process.
