Objectives

  • to train, upskill, and reskill young and adult students to successfully face the digital and green transitions by empowering the CoVes;

  • to establish AM skills frameworks and curricula; launching or revising AM (Advanced Manufacturing) programmes (including micro-credentials); creating or capacity-building learning factories (special AM labs, jointly run by VET and industry)

  • to launch a skills & jobs observatory for advanced manufacturing;

  • to accelerate industry/VET/region cooperation ideas via an open innovation community and providing consultancy to SMEs on integrating SME/VET connections;

  • to create a one-stop-shop portal for all our services; ensuring a business case for continuing services to stakeholders in the long-term, while enhancing participation.

MADE role

MADE – Competence Center Industry 4.0 as a Teaching Factory: a real-life environment for students and research engineers to develop their skills and understand the challenges methodologies everyday industrial practices to support the retraining of existing forces and upgrading of new jobs. 

Results

  • Overcoming European-wide challenges in alignment with the Skills Agenda;

  • Building a structure that will continue being relevant after the end of the fundingg; 

  • Varied partnership which represents regional governments, sector associations, VET centre associations, VET and HVET centres, large and small companies, European networks, and R&D centres from countries with different levels of developmens;

  • Open activities to other institutions interested in joining or using specific aspects

  • Creation of the first Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing CoVEs

  • A collaborative learning factory model to train Advanced manufacturing students
